Business Is Global Summer Program
Immerse yourself in the cultures and languages of East Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, Turkey, Russia, and Eastern Europe while exploring career options. If you are a high school sophomore, junior, or senior interested in experiencing the intersection of business, language, and culture—this two-week program is for you. This intensive experience, presented by IU CIBER (the Indiana University Center for International Business Education and Research) will bring to life the phrase “business is global.”

Volunteer Opportunity
On Saturday, November 23, International Focus will host a 1-day Global Holiday Festival in Moore Square, downtown Raleigh from 11:00am – 8:00pm. We will have international food vendors and trucks, dance performances, kid's activities, and merchandise vendors representing a wide variety of countries and cultures. We will need many volunteers starting at 8:00am helping with set up and then throughout the day assisting with all operations of the festival. Duke's STAR Program
The Summer Training in Academic Research (STAR) Program provides a high-quality research experience for undergraduate students, high school students, and middle and high school teachers during the summer academic break. The eight-week program, held June 22 to August 13, 2020, will give participants who are interested in science and medicine real hands-on experience in research methodology and writing.

ROCK THE STREET, WALL STREET
Rock the Street, Wall Street is program designed to ignite an interest of finance careers in high school girls. In the fall semester, the ladies have five workshops culminating in a field experience. In the spring, the program shifts focus to the ladies being mentored by another professional woman.
Session #1 begins Thursday, 9/26 during SMART Lunch in room 2613!
